Job Summary:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, provisioning, securing, automating, monitoring, and maintaining all Cloud based Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) components such as: Networks, Firewalls, Servers, Storage, Microsoft Active Directory, and their related subsystems.
Job Duties:
- Designs, provisions, secures, automates, monitors, and maintains all Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) based infrastructure components
- Creates and maintains Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) standards and documentation
- Monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves performance related issues
- Collaborates with Cloud providers and partners to assist in the execution of BDO's Cloud strategies
- Collaborates with all IT teams to assist with the implementation of desired Cloud solutions
- Designs, implements, and maintains data protection for all Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) production systems
- Designs, implements, and maintains BC/DR functionality for all Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) production systems
- Implements, monitors, manages, and maintains Cloud AD connectivity to on premise AD
- Acts as a technical lead and/or resource for the Project Management Office
- Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED, required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, preferred
Experience:
- Four (4) or more years of experience managing multiple (50+) systems, required
- Two (2) or more years of experience working within Cloud environments, preferred
License/Certifications:
- AZ-104 - Microsoft Azure Administrator, preferred
- AZ-305 - Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect, preferred
- AZ-400 - Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions, preferred
Software:
- Microsoft Windows Server (latest versions) and Active Directory, preferred
- Microsoft Azure Portal, preferred
- Microsoft PowerShell, preferred
- JSON scripting, preferred
- Terraform automation experience, preferred
- Azure DevOps, preferred
- Cloud provider environment, preferred, including but not limited to:
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $130,000 - $150,000
Washington Range: $130,000 - $150,000
