Job Description
Planner/Scheduler

This position will perform the following key duties for the pipeline inspection activities managed out of the Fairbanks office:

  • Preparing Service Purchase Requisitions (SPRs) based on estimates provided by the Inspection Leads
  • Track the SPRs through the approval process; obtaining Service Purchase Orders (SPOs) from the Alyeska buyer
  • Input appropriate SPO numbers in the TEAM Inspection Data Management System (IDMS) and ensuring the SPO numbers are available for personnel to enter time charges
  • Process RCO requests to get additional funding and to return unspent funding (when required)
  • Assist the Inspection Leads in estimating, planning, reviewing, monitoring, reporting on inspection-related activities
  • Complete work in clients work management system
  • Maintain accurate and timely SPO status including labor hour entries
  • Track SPO budget expenditure; embedding completed/scanned inspection records
  • Coordinate and verify unsatisfactory condition reporting
  • Provide input for monthly accruals
  • Close out inspection work order operations
  • Notify TEAM accounting when SPOs are completed
  • Work collaboratively with client cost, accounting and management personnel
  • Serve as a back-up for the TEAM other Planner/ Scheduler
  • Perform onboarding functions for new employees and update personnel information in IDMS as needed
  • Close work order operations; reviewing & completing monthly, annual & Y5 PMs in timely manner; issuing follow up work orders for monthly, annual & Y5 PMs as needed; aiding with Visual Acuity Testing (VAR); other duties that will arise

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work with computers/ computerized equipment
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate in English
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred experience using Oracle
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn to work accurately in client's work management system
  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with client , TEAM inspection and leadership personnel
  • Receptive to training and assistance
  • Applicants are required to pass background check and drug screening
  • Applicants will need to reside in Alaska (Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Valdez)
